Like many parents, I wanted to support my child’s learning.
But when it came time to practice weekly spelling words, it often turned into frustration instead of progress. She didn’t want to practice her spelling words.
I could make her practice, but that usually led to stress, resistance, and tears — not exactly an ideal learning environment.
I started looking for a better way.
That’s when I discovered word bingo.
Turning spelling words into a simple game made practice feel lighter, less stressful and more engaging. Reviewing spelling words became something we could do together — without pressure.
That’s when I created this tool.

About the Founder: Tim Dyer
My name is Tim Dyer, and I’m a parent, educator-at-heart, and the founder of EasyBingoCreator.com.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada.
I have 3 daughters and over the years of my schooling and theirs, I have encountered many situations when I wished school was more enjoyable (or at least less tedious).
I don’t believe that every minute of school needs to be “entertainment,” but I do believe that finding simple, interactive ways to make learning enjoyable can:
- Decrease procrastination by making the first step of studying feel smaller.
- Lower the stress associated with rote memorization and vocabulary review.
- Increase student engagement, making children actually want to learn more.
- Bridge the gap between home and school, helping parents get involved in their children’s progress.
From Puzzletainment to Easy Bingo
Shortly after graduating from UBC, I founded Puzzletainment Publishing.
My goal was to create crossword and word search puzzles that helped students “ease into studying.”
I’ve always believed that a few minutes of doing a word puzzle can smash through the mental barriers of procrastination, and can lead to hours of productive, beneficial study time.
EasyBingoCreator.com is a natural extension of that mission.
I built this tool to provide teachers and parents with a fast, high-quality way to turn any word list into a printable learning game.
By removing the technical hurdles of creating classroom resources, I hope to give educators more time to focus on what matters most: the students.
